5 Characteristics of Great Competitors || Dudes Baseball LLC

1. Preparedness. In team training, at home, at their own time, they focus, aimed and dedicated to being better and staying ready. They are wild animals during preparation.

2. Smart. They watched the match. They know the game. They are healthy in a situation. They play mental games. They are strategic. They watch matches to find weaknesses, tell and tendencies in their opponents. They play the game temporarily not on the field.

3. Mentally tough. They can be described as sandy. Their determination and toughness are on display when things do not go according to their wishes or their teams. Bad calls, mistakes, bad weather and play conditions, poor performance, they keep their heads in the game, their emotions are checked and continue to compete.

4. Consistent. They can be relied upon and trustworthy. Their work ethics, mental toughness, attention to details and preparation (all listed above) allows them to be consistent in their performance. It seems that they don’t care about the situation thrown on them, they find a way to produce more time and time.

5. Leadership. You will often find your best competitors are also the best leaders in the team. They lead by giving examples of how they do their work, their body language and how they interact with teammates and coaches. They are often seen by people around them. They understand the impact of their attitudes and how the team’s culture and chemistry eat their emotions. They know when to be excited and fire everyone and when to stay calm.
