Niwot, Colo. – Particle Measuring Systems (PMS), a Spectris company, has announced a planned Particle Measuring Systems leadership transition following President Andy Cowan’s decision to leave Spectris. As announced in April of this year Amy Allen, Chief Financial Officer of PMS, will assume the role of Interim President effective August 17, 2026. Mr. Cowan will remain available through the end of August to complete the final handover of responsibilities.
Ms. Allen brings extensive knowledge of the PMS business and its global customers. She will continue serving as Chief Financial Officer while working closely with the PMS Executive Leadership Team to provide continuity and support a seamless leadership transition during this period.
As part of the Particle Measuring Systems leadership transition, the company remains focused on maintaining continuity for employees, customers, and partners worldwide.
“Leading Particle Measuring Systems has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Over the past several years, I have had the privilege of working alongside an incredibly talented and dedicated team whose commitment to innovation, customer success, and operational excellence continues to set PMS apart. Together, we have made significant progress in strengthening the business and positioning PMS for continued long-term growth.
Leaving PMS was not an easy decision. This company, its people, and its customers mean a great deal to me. However, I do so with tremendous confidence in the future of the organization and pride in what we have accomplished together. I am especially pleased to be leaving the business in very capable hands with Amy Allen serving as Interim President. Amy has a deep understanding of PMS, strong leadership skills, and a clear commitment to our strategic priorities. I have no doubt she will provide excellent leadership and continuity for the team as the company continues its growth journey. I want to thank my colleagues across PMS and Spectris for their partnership and support, and I look forward to seeing the company’s continued success in the years ahead” said Andy Cowan, President of Particle Measuring Systems.
The search for the next President of Particle Measuring Systems remains underway. The company is focused on identifying the right leader to guide PMS through its next phase of growth and will provide further updates once an appointment has been finalized and a start date has been confirmed.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
